He was a self-hating Jewish homosexual. He wrote Sex and Character by age 23 I think. He was definitely a genius. But unfortunately he killed himself before his genius was given time to truly flourish. He originate several very good ideas about female and male psychology. That each individual is some proportion male and female in the psychological makeup. And that the most potent attraction occurs between individuals having complementary proportions. He also discusses the psychology of genius, the character of women (mother type/prosititute type) etc. In the mass I think he would have lived to regret his work. Most geniuses cringe at their early works. In any case he was widely admired. Hitler, Wittgenstein, Joyce, etc...
