that's exactly how i felt when i first read the book when i was a virgin. i wanted a simone. but then i got a gf and fucking got boring. we never got into all the obscene stuff but sex just felt less "good" the more i did it. not just penetration itself but everything about lust started to lose what made it so desirable. ofc this seems obvious in hindsight but i was depraved as fuck when i was a virgin so reading this now was revelatory
