The old dogs McCarthy, Gass, Morrison, and Pynchon will probably publish final works before their deaths, if not posthumously. Marlon James will probably go back to literature after his fantasy shit's out. Knausgard or however you spell it will probably start writing again, as well as Laszlo Kwhateverski. Maybe Zadie Smith will do something worthwhile in her old age. If we're lucky, NYRB will reprint some more obscure shit or there will be more work from those African writers whose names I won't even try to spell.
I'm actually kind of looking forward to the future of literature
