Great choice, OP.
Don't mind people telling you it's not a good literary book because it isn't about literature anyway. It will give you some fresh ideas and will help you out in many aspects of social life, but just reading it won't be enough for you to change how you interact with people. It's a great start, though.

It's filled with common sense advice, which many people fail to adhere to. Either it's stuff you already know, know intuitively but not on a conscious level, or not at all. It holds timeless wisdom on the art of conversation, which everyone should read at least once in there lives. It has also opened my eyes to just how socially inept normies, and even so called intellectuals can be at times.
