We know for a fact that jobs will be in short supply in the near future so most people will either be fighting to survive or filling their entire existence with leisure.

Will there be a surge in the quality of creative output in our jobless future?
Or will the vast majority of people collapse into laziness and the endless pursuit of quick & easy dopamine?

Curb your enthusiasm. We aren't at post scarcity yet and the scientists promised us flying cars in the 1960s.

Macroeconomic models like the one you're describing are rarely accurate and any game changing innovation like point fusion reaction would generate countless jobs that can't be automated or don't make sense to.

Also, there will continue to be poor people. Suck it commie.
