What is a /lit/erary lifestyle? How would you exactly define it?

>> No.9767382

Being a holier-than-thou socially retarded person who reads a lot.

Let me tell you about the literary lifestyle:
>you wake up at 4:00 and brush your teeth
>you eat a yoghurt with cornflakes, grapes and coffee
>you write for 4 hours
>then you go for a half hour run, shower quickly and go to university studying for a useless degree, no matter whether STEM or liberal arts
>when you ahve no lectures you are at the university library studying the material
>at 17:00 you go to the elderly care residence where you clean old peoples' asses and make their beds
>at 20:30 you return home, prepare for gym where you lift weights for an hour
>You shower, then read a book for half an hour until 22:00 when you sleep
>whenever you can browse /lit/ and /pol/ and despair a little more

When you are older you can switch the 8 hours of uni with more reading, work and perhaps a walk. Forget the learned literary circles meeting together to discuss books. Forget /lit/ girls or bros. The /lit/ lifestyle is one of solitude. You will cease to be able to connect to people and people will try to avoid you in return.

William James says conversion is basically when religion becomes the primary mover in someones life.

Being literary is when books become the primary motivation or object of consumption in someones life

Waking out slightly before noon, long breakfast, some light reading and fucking around until it's dark, sitting down and writing a few words before rapidly losing motivation and reading some more before falling asleep

Basically NEET, but no constant r9k anxiety, perhaps short bursts of such which are immediately spend on feverish writing. Rest depends on the person.
