I think that storytelling through video games is one of the most retarded lost causes in human history but even I'll admit that Nier and Metal Gear Solid 2 are well done. They play in a kind of janky but good Japanese way if that makes sense. Not fluid in the current vidya sense of being absurdly easy and intuitive, but more like those shit-kicking old Megaman and Castlevania games. MGS2 is the Devil May Cry of stealth games.
