100 pages in and I am enjoying it. Am I going to be rewarded or disappointed if I keep reading?

Must be thinking of the other Steve Erickson. And what do you get out of spamming pics of your youtube whores/victims?

I haven't finished the series but I can tell you that the third book drags the fuck on in the last couple hundred pages. First book is all right, second one is pretty awesome. I have the fourth book waiting to go but I'm already burned out on this series. Too many characters, too many changing viewpoints. And the emotional/romantic shit is incredibly shallow and poorly written. I love the inventiveness of the world with its different races and cultures, but it can really drag on.

yes it just gets better. usually people drop it in the first 100 pages so you will probably really enjoy it when it really gets going later in the book and in book 2.
