yea, i'm also quite liking his writing style so far, i'm currently intermediate level Japanese so might try and read it again in Japanese next year or something, it's pretty short so might be a fun project
i imagine that things are going to get quite dark as he gets older and he will probably commit some sort of crime, if so, i can see exactly why this might give a pretty strong l'etranger feel
