What is it like living in a country with mostly whites, and a stable homogeneous culture?

As I type this, 3 different police sirens are going on outside my window and two immigrant women are vomiting on the street.

I second this - I have a 'practical' degree and all it got me was a well-paying job that is stupifyingly boring, involves horrible office politics, and tends to use all of my mental energy. When I worked labor (albeit briefly), I found that I would come home physically tired and yet be able to read for hours, study Latin with fantastic retention, and write a solid journal entry every day, which were far more interesting and full of ideas than the ones I can write now. Trades are not only compensated as well as or better than many office jobs, they don't involve staring at the Microsoft Office suite for 50 hours a week. Trades are some of the few jobs today that remain that involve ingenuity and physical work, which are two of the things that I think best suit people.

philosophy actually leaves you a lot of doors open. you can pursue statecraft, law, or just business policy. its only worthless if you treat it like its just more school. It's not, its a training program and connections are worth more than your degree so befriend your professors.

Trades are things like metal working, electricianing, or mechanic work.

if youre dumb and asocial, why bother going to university at all? go work in a warehouse or something. You can make pretty good income eventually and spend most of your time alone.
