Boy howdy, how tight does one's asshole have to be before they craft such a monument to pedantry?

Next time you post this, change the first line. "If you agree" doesn't make sense when the list is mostly made up of actions.

Merimee's Colomba-- post-100 Days Sicilian revenge debacle rendered rather quietly. Second time through his series of short novels and long stories (this one and Carmen are the longest). Superb.
>addendum: anyone who hasn't pored through Cellini's fantastic Autobiography should be expelled as well!
Dig the change of image, anon.

would "if any of the following applies to you" work? how would you put it?

This

For such a long list of anal, literary pet-peeves, you didn't put much thought into your post. If I didn't know the autism this board was capable of I would have considered it b8

That is better, but "if any of the following is true" would be my choice.

Please leave this board and never return if:

>You read any form of genre fiction.
>You barely know your classics.

does the first part work? is the list grammatically correct or do I leave it lower case without a period?

also, is the green text necessary? thanks in advance

>> No.9622367

>>9622364
You don't need periods for a list, and greentext etiquette supercedes grammar rules so go with no capitalisation.

Or,
>Leave this board and never return if any one of the following items applies to /you:
or
>...any one of these...
which is more in line with the definition of 'item' = a unit in a list. IOW's 'following' has a redundant feel.
