How do you get inspired to write? I can't think of any topics.

Start writing when you actually have inspiration and a clear idea about your subject / story. If you write just for the sake of writing something, you'll end up with a turd that you're desperately try to polish.

You know, I didn't think of that...

Probably because I need a new hobby that's stimulating. I ran out dwarf fortress fan fiction to write and fluffy abuse

You can always write a diary. Surely you can find one reader who will find it interesting in the future.
It will give you practice writing and with the right amount of gusto the border between what really happened and fantasy will blur.

As for more fictional writing, perhaps your question should be phrased: "How can I find an interesting topic someone else would like to read?"
That's a question that many writers ask themselves, and publishers discards thousands of manuscripts every day, as they think the writer is giving them the wrong answer.
