my reading speed is wildly inconsistent. i can definitely do 150 pages some hours, but sometimes it's like 30 - on the same book

I can speed read when i want to. Although certainly not 1000 pages an hour. But unless its a news article or drier parts of some nonfiction i dont. I like to orate in my head (Is there a word for that?). More comfy that way. But i read for enjoyment and to relax
