He sticks his hand in to the black box (in the eyes of non academics) of theory and pulls out whatever he feels like to justify whatever practical, concrete views he has. Similarly to all intellectual frauds in the humanities departments. Since he is one who (I think) panders to the alt right or right wingers or young males, this makes him different from 99 % of other academics who talk bullshit to advance leftist causes.
