I'm looking for that meme that compares the views of Einstein, Oppenheimer and CO against Lawrence Krauss and Neil Degrass Dyson. Specifically their views on philosophy. Can someone post it please?

I agree with the spirit of this meme, but I'm betting that the Bill Nye quote is taken out of context. It's certainly reasonable to be skeptical of anti-realism, idealism, simulation or any anti-materialist philosophy, it just isn't profound to say that you are skeptical of these things.

no it just exposes that Nye is a shallow, incurious person whose never thought deeply about the nature of knowledge or the validity of sensory data because it interferes with his presupossitions about society, culture, reality and truth.

When I say, "I think he may be taken out of context", my direct concern is about whatever Nye said after that quote.

You might begin a well reasoned argument by stating you are skeptical of anti-materialist theories. It isn't absurd to hold to materialism, there are certainly arguments to be made for it.

Given the conversational tone of the quote, I doubt he just said that statement and went quiet.
