Enjoy using the losing medium, fags?

Pic related, the sound of TV will drown out all of you.

Who the fuck still watches TV.

>> No.930492

Number of new books published in USA and UK per year = 378,000

>implying TV comes close to producing an equivalent number of movies and programs

Who the fuck still reads books? Nowadays everyone watches the movie version or reality tv.

>>930492

Yeah, right. The average person spends like 5 hours a day watching TV, I wonder how many books they read?

That just implies that Americans are stupid

>> No.930811

What's really scary is that we spend far too much time on celebrity gossip. I really couldn't give a shit about what uptight group Lady Gaga is trying to shock now because like every celebrity, what comes out of her mouth is complete bullshit.

>> No.930858

I don't know how people can stand to watch TV all day. . . especially reality TV. Holy fuck that shit is mind-numbingly boring.

>> No.930900

>>1/3 of high school graduates never read another book for the rest of their lives.

So, 2/3 do? Which would put your group in the minority...

>>42 percent of college graduates never read another book after college.

Again, minority.

>>80 percent of U.S. families did not buy or read a book last year.

That's one year out of thousands. Doesn't really prove much.

>>70 percent of U.S. adults have not been in a bookstore in the last five years.

Interestingly enough, the last five years has seen a major rise in stores such as Amazon that sell books extremely cheap and you don't have to move to buy them. We all know how much Americans hate having to move.

>>57 percent of new books are not read to completion.

57% of new books are piles of shit.

>>70 percent of books published do not earn back their advance.

So? Musicians don't make much money from CD sales, shit's still going.

>>70 percent of the books published do not make a profit.

As above.

I hate to feed the troll but they were some shit points. And most of them only related to one country.
