it isn't that. it's how dull it is to inhabit one person and how pleasure constricts solipsist perception. asceticism is about maximizing your enjoyment by making your life about other people instead of yourself. sex can facilitate that. after all it is THE physical principle of creation, but let's be honest when we take a look at our situation and understand that that exhilaration's been subsidized for capital (ultimately speaking). pleasure can always find its ways around that but then how is that selfless at all anymore? hence it gets boring because the logical conclusion becomes, like that other guy said, going full hitler.
