Does anyone know any good books about time traveling in the future?

I don't mean someone traveling into the usual futuristic world with advanced technology but finding themselves at awe by seeing that the future is nothing more then a living hell.

Similar to this picture, plus it doesn't have to be someone building a time machine, but accidentally finding themselves in this hellish environment

time traveling in the future? Like, be in the future and travel through time? Like, established time travel companies let you take time travel vacations? time travel cops stop crimes? man ignore me I'm too baked.

Robert Silverberg actually had a novel about that. Down The Line, I think it was called. Maybe Beyond The Line? Something The Line. Good luck. Read it stoned.

I know there is some book I am referencing. I think it was about like a teenage boy who goes on a time travel vacation. You leave your body in a stasis state of some kind and your mind travelled to a waiting 'clone' (very much like avatar) and there was a sort of mystery/detective novel plot... memory too hazy. narcotics kicking in.

This is maybe the Jack Finney novels starting with "Time and Again?" I can only think of those as ones where hypnosis is a time travel technique.
