Going to the market tomorrow, to buy some books. Money is not an issue, I have loads. I just need book recommendations.

About me, I'm a guy, 25 years old. Hate simple romances(like Jane Austen), prefer something that is a little complicated. Also like science fiction and crime fiction.

Would also like to get some classics from American, British and other non-Anglo English literature.

Post recommendation charts please.

Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism, 2nd edition.

Read the sticky, also the fact that you think Jane Austen wrote simple romances shows that you
're not ready for anything more complicated.
