Has anyone read this?

It's the only modern African book anyone seems to talk about. Is it worth reading or is it only loved by postcolonialist studies faculty?

Great book imo. Really interesting because you don't see much good literature from the perspective of the culture that is being colonized. You just reminded me, I need to read this again.

Might have to check it out then, thanks.

Yeah, it's also really good because of the internal struggles of the main character. It's kind of a mixture of a conflict in the self as well as the society. Have fun reading it!

it's good because it doesn't paint anyone with a monochrome brush, but still address the advanced issues of colonialism
