I read it this last semester, it's the first time I've read C&P. I liked it a lot. Previously read the P&V translation of Notes from Underground, I didnt like their translation much, Ready seems better and my prof who's a Russian expert seemed to prefer him

really really good. probably the best one out there. i read p&v for the first 200 pages, but switched to ready because it was a lot more fluent and natural. i'm not a fan of 100% literal translations, p&v is well-known for being clunky to read.
