I got about 200 pages in and quit. I mean, I only made it that far because I was determined just to find out what the fuck the book was even about, but I couldn't.

Just now, reading the wiki article, I actually found out what it's about (which is basically nothing), and didn't get a single hint of that from getting 200 pages into the actual goddamn book.
