Sam's appeal has always been that he mixes aggressive fearlessness with the obvious vulnerability and pathetic needs of the 21st century white boy. I think Sam is a smart guy and a genuienly good comedian, but he is filled with so much hate and biterness. I mean everything he says, all the jokes he makes, are seething with resentment. I think this is why the alt right appeals so much to him, its a bitter resentful movement.
