Despite all the funposting pervading /lit/, I actually learned something here: Non-fiction is far more interesting than fiction, more than it ever can be. Sure, I've read a lot of classics and whatnot. But I couldn't tell you in detail the history of our great country. That's simply ignorance. History can be pretty /lit/, anyway. Heck, girls probably are more interested in history than literature, right, fellas?

History is a very small subset of non-fiction.

I am glad that you have discovered the joys of it, though. Some of it is very poetic and literary and for me it is usually more captivating than fiction
