I believe in Karma. I believe in Karma in that sense that actions with negative motivation (anger, jealousy, rage) will eventually catch up to you. The time in which it catches up can be negated by good positive Karma in a universal energy sense.

My father has a friend who for 40 years has gotten away with tax evasion, cheating on his wife, and generally being a bad man. He smoke and drank, but gave that up 10 years ago. Karma struck back and decided to give him stomach cancer three times in his life.

To me, Karma isn't supernatural. Its effects are quite immediate. You be an asshole to someone, they're going to hate you. You treat your body horribly, you get cancer.
