Any good books that deal with the importance of physical exercise? Or the link between physical prowess and literature?

Not a whole book, but you'll find what you need to know in Anna Karenina surprisingly. And physical prowess? If you're never going to use the word prowess other than with physical, you're better off telling us if you mean that fake masculine riodhead appearance or actual strength - which you aint getting after an hour on the fucking stair master.

The same determination needed to self-immolate is to be found in some constitutions. But you wont find any talk about the importance of physical exercise other than mandatory duty.

>Amerifats need a book to explain the importance of good health

>physical prowess and literature
People in good health tend to be more focused mentally than those not

I am not American. I am from Central Europe. And I was looking for something more philosophical than 'lol it maek u focus and healthy xD'. Every retard knows that much. I am looking for a work that dwells on the topic in a compelling way.

Sun and Steel so far is close to what I am looking for.

Actual strength and ability is what I meant, not try-hard ''manly'' faggotry.

Socrates was so manly that he didn't even write.

Sun & Steel is among the few right answers. The reason for that being that the large proponent of Mishima's work was "actions > words". I find myself regularly disenchanted by "manly" literature because when you do some research you find the authors very often... aren't.

Just read good books and do manly activities, don't read about how to be manly. The people that do are often less interested in physical exercise or labour so much as they are hero-worshipping some uppercut pomade bonkers idealized 50's faux-masculinity shit

You don't need a book for this one. Just be a man. Physical exercise isn't necessary if you are a hard worker, so take time out of your day to find meaningful physical work(charity building and things of this nature). Physical exercise by itself should be done habitually if not done through hard work. Keeping your body healthy keeps your mind healthy. Set aside maybe 10 - 30 minutes every morning, do some push ups, some jumping jacks, some squats, some sit ups, and if you can buy some dumbbells then purchase a 15 - 30 pound set and curl them, should press them, and dumbbell squat with them for a few sets. It sounds like a lot but if you do this daily 5 times a week it will become something you don't even need to think about and over time you will notice positive changes in your body and mind and with proper nutrition these changes will only be more vast and worthwhile.
