Just finished this... holy shit. That ending was fucking bizarre. Are the rest of Pynchon's books as good as this? Which one should I read next? The only other one I have read is Inherent Vice.

I'm not the OP, but GR is kind of weird. There is a lot of things I really like about it, but sometimes the way Pynchon does things can get on your nerves. Overall, I think it is a very enjoyable experience and the prose is really solid. There a handful of passages that I re-read every now and then because I like the way they are written.

I do think it's a pretty fun book to read.
