Looking for some epic fantasy kind of stuff, not necessarily stuff like the standard /sffg/ stuff, but stories like Ivanhoe and Danes inferno. I'm not well read in the epics area, but I've read the above 2, Iliad, odyssey, and paradise lost

Check out Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone series. It's more high fantasy, but still good. I haven't read any of those books in years, but they reminded me of Robert E. Howard's Conan books.
