I'm reading The Invisible Man for English class, like I'm sure 99% of Americans have done in the past.
Do you guys like the perspective on racism it provides? Basically the whole thing is about not following proper routes to get ahead, because white people will always hold him down. This is the Jim Crow era, by the way.
Also, do you find the way he describes himself to be akin to a conspiracy theorist? As in, when he says he's enlightened, and everyone else is in the dark, etc.
