I want to get into the Greek plays but don't know where to start. Anyone have advice and preferred translations?

The Oedipus cycle is actually really enjoyable, and kind of engrossing. (Oedipus Rex, Antigone, and I forget the name of the third one.)
If I remember correctly, there is a newer translation of the first one that is a lot better than the old version, but I can't remember who it is done by, sorry.

I read Oedipus Rex and Antigone my freshman year of high-school (8 years ago, I feel old, man). I'll give them another read. Thanks.
