This is such a great play. Poor Ajax, a noble hero tricked into humiliation and suicide by that sociopathic asshole Odysseus. His speech about change is beautiful.

So far as I understood the play was about the conflict between the old Homeric code of honour and the needs of the modern (classical Greek) community. Doesn't stop me from admiring the former more than the latter.
