Hi

I am longing for the utopia of the 1950s, a time that to me seems like the peak of white culture.

I am thinking about the time where women were subordinate to man and happy in traditional gender roles, where children weren't caught up in degeneracy, and being proud and subscribing to American exceptionalism was at the forefront of the cultural ethos.

I want literature recommendations of works that embody a Norman Rockwell aesthetic in literary form, so that I can immerse myself into this sadly lost world of wonder.

I am thinking diners, hierarchy, tradition, respectability, civic responsibility, pride in hard work, masculinity and no interracial relationships.

Pic obviously related, it's that feel I am looking for.

Thanks
