Are there more works by Byron with the same quality as Darkness

https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems-and-poets/poems/detail/43825

or this is kind of a special case? I feel that Byron was much more popular in the past, maybe due to his life and persona, than he is now.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, perhaps the closest poem to Darkness would be the Rhime of the Ancient Mariner by Coleridge or perhaps Julian and Maddalo by Shelley as the they share a sense of the bleak. Thing about Darkness was that it was written by Byron at a time in his life when he was suffering from deep depression, so it's a slightly atypical work.

As for Byron's popularity, he's the Romantic poet who has suffered the largest decline in his critical reputation over the past 100 years. The problem with Byron I feel is that he's too caught up in the spirit of his age, chasing fashions and playing the celebrity rather than developing his poetic craft.

don juan is still a masterpiece

the rest of his output is much more uneven.
