Yes it's normal. However, the truly genius writers are not normal, are they. And I am a genius.

Some people never get good.

>> No.8464013

The more I write the more I think solid writing is about how much you write. If I write ten pages a day, one or two are good, one more is passable and the rest is shit. I think mass might be the number one reason for good writing. Excellent writing either needs more practice or genius, not sure yet.

Most, if not all of your life, and more often than not, you die without improving at all

Jesus, I'm sorry but that's a stupid question OP, it's more pretty fucking normal, but it won't necessarily take long for you to learn how to have a great writing style. Now, dedicate yourself fool, and take grammar and composition classes, good fucking luck.

>>8463699
>are they.

Your grammar isn't genius tier, it actually suggests otherwise, I'll take it into consideration. Actually, I'm just messing with you now, so forget it, there's no point to fight about it, if you ARE going to respond to this you better have one hell of an argument regarding how geniuses don't need good grammar or some other similar bullshit, tell me something I don't already know faggot.

Not who you were replying to.
You have to know all the rules to be able to break the rules in a constructive way.

There's a saying attributed to several different writers that everyone has one million bad words in him.

So get cracking and knock out that first million.

Force yourself to do canned writing exercises and read voraciously when you're not inspired. You should still be progressing in the mechanics of form even if you don't have some amazing idea.
