Is there anyone who studied at home instead of uni?

I don't get why you would take literature and history when you could just learn at your own pace; learn what you want at home.

I went to college, learned nothing of real substance. All the really cool shit I know now, I learned on my own

Unfortunately college is more about a degree than knowledge
Going to college for literature/philosophy is idiotic because you aren't just learning about the subject, but investing in a degree
