So I just started Gravity's Rainbow. And I've been following it decently so far. But the Kenosha Kid chapter really threw me for a loop. I get that it's PISCES/Spector injecting Truth Serum into Slothrop. But I'm missing how Slothrop came to be one of Spector's "Foxes". Or is this just left out of the narrative?

I don't know. I was following somewhat decently until this point. It has really thrown me for a loop. But I'll trudge on. Hopefully the farther I read, the more I'll be able to put together.

Yea but then it starts to get pretty difficult in section 3. Slogging through it currently and I can't say that I enjoy or understand the whole thing but it's... jesus I don't even know at this point I tell myself I'll stop reading it because I'll understand it for a while and then get to a passage that I completely lose my grip on and then put the book back only to hopelessly open it up and continue reading it the next day

They start to slowly unravel all the experimentation shit...don't wanna spoil it but it has to do with the Hereros and exploiting racial fear...don't worry about understanding everything in the first section, I sure as hell didn't but the plotlines start to slowly connect later on
