hey all you /lit/erati out there

I got a NOOK as a gift recently, as well as a gift card worth a bunch of BN funbux

What books should I get for this thing?

I'm into psych horror and contemporary fantasy, but really I'd like to get anything that's really well written. I'm a hobbyist writer and I want to tighten my craft.

I don't know what NOOK is, but Powers of Horror by Julia Kristeva is a great book for understanding the psychology behind fear

not OP, but I have one and don't mind this. #bookz is almost always able to provide non-.txt formats.
