Why is it that a middle schooler today will have better common sense than a radical leftist academic?

>biological sex doesn't exist
>physics is subjective

I get there's the whole Humean/Kantian skepticism of causality and phenomena and shit but give me a fucking break.

OK, I'll take the bait. I work in academia in the UK, and on the assumption that you're American, you'd probably consider my politics to be "radical leftist":

(1) Biological sex certainly does exist, as my partner who is a zoology graduate would confirm.

(2) Legitimate physics, i.e. that which follows the scientific method, is by definition objective.

(3) The right now simply lies and lies again (pace Goebbels) for want of a coherent argument.

Don't let the door bang you on your arse on your way out, son.

>humean/kantian skepticism of causality and phenomena

why are you invoking an age-old conflict between philosophers to strawman the contemporary left-leaning academia? who from academia has ever claimed either of your exampled ridiculous postulations?

Holy shit this level of selection bias.

A radical leftist academic would be Chomsky or Zizek. Neither are concerned with gender nor subjectivity in physics. I live in the U.S and been to two colleges of pretty different inclination, and even with my preconceived bias at the time against 'SJWs' I quickly realised the anti-SJWs who were exactly what they sought to fight completely outweighed and outnumbered the 'SJWs' in terms of being fucking loud and obnoxious
