the authors of this book deserve the most brutal and inhumane torture imaginable.
They should be sleep deprived, they should have each sense tortured individually until they dull. They should be force fed and kept alive as long as possible in order to prolong their suffering, for these two people have spawned the worlds greatest evil, and without them the most disgusting and vile people of today would not exist.

This probability works as an existentialist novel and every few pages the is a line worthy Sartre or Beckett but the sheer misery distilled into the prose makes it a hard read .

Problem is the character is in such a pathetic state but the book treats it as kind of enlightenment or as the inevitable result of intellect . And current, not depressed, me just found it annoying .


The kind of book that made me realize that if I dont finish it in one sitting I i wont finish it at all. there was no chance I was coming back to it

I liked the first part better. A bit too much necro porn at times, though. The second went on and on with that reincarnation thing or whatever the hell was going on. I still don't know what exactly happened in the end, but I'll admit I was enchanted by the night journey to the riverbank tomb and the passionate and eloquent suffering of the MC. I think it was worth the effort since it's so short, anyway.
