Depends on your reason for reading it. As English poetry, read the KJV. For modern English, read NIV. For a more accurate feel for OT culture, read anything that translates the Tetragrammaton as YHWH, Jehovah, or Yahweh instead of LORD
When you read, treat it as ancient mythological literature.

They all contain basically the same message as long as you're not getting something like "the extreme teen bible".

Just pick the one you find easiest to read, probably one thats in modern English.

Also this. IMO LORD makes some verses awkward to read when it comes up allot, it makes more sense when its rendered as a name.
