Let's have a word thread. Post your favourite words. Words you can use in normal discourse, completely obscure words, words that roll of the tongue or words that look aesthetically pleasing when written... or whatever.

Here are some of my favourites:

Excreta: excreted matter, as urine, feces, or sweat

Apocrypha: writings, statements, etc., of doubtful authorship or authenticity

Sodality: fellowship; comradeship

Nascent: beginning to exist or develop: the nascent republic

Cupidity: eager or excessive desire, esp. to possess something; greed; avarice.
