OP here, criticize away. I have three quotes at the opener, and I get a lot of complaints about that. I've been thinking about moving them before each segment since each quote represents each character.

Another complaint I've had about chapter 1 is that it's too wordy. I did make it like that to have the feel of a giddy talkative teenager, but I might have gotten carried away. Tell me your thoughts.

Also: I would like to recruit any and all grammar and spelling Nazis.
