So /lit/, how do I start with the Greeks? What would be your recommended list of books I should read/analyze and in what order? Starting with the Greeks is good, but starting with the wrong Greeks might just be worse than not starting with them at all.

how come no one reads pindar anymore? when u read old school 18th and 19th century shit everyone is into him, but today ppl act like he doesn't exist....did he run afoul of the jews somehow and now that they have taken over he has been purged?
