>In every relationship, there's the person who needs the other person less, and that person has all the power. There is one who loves, and one who consents to be loved.

What did he mean by this?

>> No.7956643

He means exactly what he said

>> No.7956647

He meant he was a needy, manipulative prick with no understanding of other people.

>> No.7956648

He never said that, quote him faggot

Usually, (I wouldn't say in ever relationship), one partner feels that they could viably go out and get a "better" mate than they have, while the other partner believes that who they're with is their "best shot".

This is why so many desirably people get freaked out by the idea of committing to a relationship when they're young. It takes a leap that they don't see a reason to take yet.

Whoever said this, it was painful to read the first sentence.

That it's all about trying to appear to be the one who consents, wallace. Achieving symmetry is all but possible

>> No.7956718

Did he go further and say that the vast majority of the time the one who "consents" is the female?
