Has anyone read Saul Newmans book on Stirner?

Which book might that be? I'm curious.

Does anyone know any good essays on the works and thinkers that influenced Stirner. Is there any work that can catch you up on the kind of Hegelian thought that Stirner uses and mocks.

Ive read his article/essay on art and religion and it seems like something that requires a decent knowledge of that area.

You can find similarities between Stirner and Thales as well. The point is the language used by Epicureans doesnt help to understand any of his work which is heavily couched in terms and ideas of the Hegelians
