What do you think of Houellebecq?

I like him, I've only read Whatever and Against Life tho.

The secondmost Pepe-esque writer of all time.

>> No.7922796

I've read Whatever, The Elementary Particles and Submission.

Top tier lad I think, although he can be a bit repetitive in his themes/ideas/characters, but I don't really mind that in an author. Better to do one thing right than to fuck about all over the place.

I like him buto I've never read anything by him

> Fifty Shades Of Gray has a score over 4.0 on Goodreads but many classics do not

The majority on Goodreads are plebs and you know it, anon. Please no more lazy bait

Mediocre. Supposedly good prose, but I can't tell due to reading translations. His books average 2-3 interesting ideas.

His prose is renown for being shit and only becoming readable thanks to the translations.

Not even that guy, but I can figure Rodger is the greatest pepe. You should try a +110 IQ sometime.

More like deliberately jarring antiprose.

>His books average 2-3 interesting ideas.
That's about 2 to 3 more than average though.

Rodger was Wojak gone mad, far from Pepe. Stirner is pretty Pepe.

One of the most important writers working right now. He writes about characters and ideas many writers avoid these days.
What Houellebecq has everyone read? I'm curious because it seems like all anyone on hear has read is The Elementary Particles, Whatever, and Submission.
I just finished the Elementary Particles last night actually. Before that I've read The Map and the Territory, Submission, and Platform.
