Recently, I have come across a second-hand copy of Lord of the Flies, and throughout the novel are notes about the meaning of specific parts, as well as about descriptions and metaphors the that this unknown reader enjoyed. I thought it was a great experience to be able to see the book from someone else's point of view, and seeing how their interpretation compares to mine. What do you folks think?
