So I just bought the first five books of Game of Thrones. I heard that there is a spinoff series called Tales of Dunk and Egg which is set before the events of GoT. Do you recommend that I start with the Tales of Dunk and Egg first? Or should I read the main novels then go to read Dunk and Egg? Thanks a bunch in advance!

they're a spin off set 100 years earlier that dont have anything to do with the main story

they're just small side stories

>books of Game of Thrones

The book series is known as A Song of Ice and Fire. (Or Fire and Ice. No, Ice and Fire I think. Anyway,) The TV show is called Game of Thrones.

yah sorry my bad, pretty new to this thing. I haven't watched the show, so I am pretty sure that I will enjoy the books more that way since I have absolutely no idea about the story. I only know that it is high fantasy and critically acclaimed.
