What are you looking to get out of it?

Whatever it is, not Evola.

You start by recognizing the truth...we live in a fallen age...Kali Yuga, the age of degeneracy...

Can that even be in doubt...when nice guys like me can't get a good christian girlfriend...when all they do is sleep around with Chads...truly, a dark age...alas, alas...

Evola isn't a traditionalist...
But depends on whose tradition. For America Tocqueville and Hayek from what I've read, Belloc and Aquinas for Europe.

this thread again

anyways, this is the best recommendation i can give you, but you have to read it in this order or you'll fall short

1. read decline of the west (unabridged)
2. read crisis of the modern world
3. read revolt against the modern world
4. read imperium

It depends whether you want mystical traditionalism (in which case, starting with Evola isn't an altogether bad idea - also try Guenon and Schuon), or purely political traditionalism, of which there are many stripes (every shade of conservative and/or reactionary from Burke to Powell).

The two are often intertwined but not necessarily. I recently talked to a dude in class who had no interest in or idea of esoteric stuff but really liked praxis-y High Tory stuff.

Julius Evola is a good start. You'll learn about the Age of the Kali Yuga and how we need to help our person of color brethren over in India help rise above the degeneracy of the modern world and create a Roman-Germanic-Indo-Aryan Empire.
