What should i be proving to you? He was commie, and some of his soldiers said they had affair with him, which doesn't really matter, because he was communist pig. Enjoy your myth, you rebel. Also, i am not from America, but i guess it is not in line with your thinking.

Oh god, what a terrible article and the author even manages to blame Che for debilitating democracy in Latin America.

So, all the coups supported by the US, all the soldiers trained by the US and all the killings of innocent people in the hands of local armies were Che's fault?

Americans truly know shit about world history.

Reading For Whom the Bell Tolls, you can expect awesomeness, but sometimes the dialogue can be quite dry (you might want to read something else inbetween).

I think Hemingway is overrated. I'd say that he wrote a half-dozen or so truly excellent short stories ("The Snows of Kilimanjaro" and "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber" are easily two of the best stories of the 20th Century) and one great novel (The Sun Also Rises), but then I think he devolved into self-parody in his writing and seemed more interested in being Hemingway the Myth rather than Hemingway the Brilliant Writer.

Cubans are better off with the communists than they were before. Food, literacy, health care, education. It's not so bad.

Hey, I'm not pro-Che, I don't even like communism.
But the fucker doesn't acknowledge that there were coups in Latin America before Che was even born, so how can a man weaken the "democratic governments" if they were already weak or de facto in many cases?.

Let aside his apparent ignorance on the matter, but he's even blaming Che for all the uprisings throughout Latin America. Many of the people involved were just tired of their shitty governments. They tried to rise up and the army fought them all and made plenty of other terrible things far worse than a bunch of local 'freedom fighters'.
